The FFB 8401 is a 14″ leather pull-on structural firefighting boot, NFPA 1971 certified and built for interior attack and the seconds that matter most when the alarm sounds. There's no lacing to fight with — just step in and go. An oblique-shaped steel toe delivers protection and a natural foot shape, meeting ASTM F2413-05 standards for impact (I/75) and compression (C/75) protection, finished with a Vibram® toe cap that stands up to years of abrasion most boots can't survive.
Waterproof full-grain leather and a waterproof membrane keep water out in the demanding conditions this boot is actually built for, while a full wraparound Goodyear welt and triple ridge shank with a steel puncture plate deliver the structural durability a bunker boot has to have. The Vibram® Technical Lug outsole, built with a fire-retardant NFPA compound, holds its grip on wet, oily, or unpredictable ground.
