The FFB 8001 is the round-toe counterpart to our FFB 8401 — the same 14″ leather pull-on structural firefighting boot, NFPA 1971 certified for interior attack, built for firefighters who want a little extra room up front. No lacing, no zipper — just step in and go when the alarm sounds. The round steel toe meets ASTM F2413-05 standards for impact (I/75) and compression (C/75) protection, and a Vibram® toe cap adds serious abrasion resistance right where a bunker boot takes the most punishment.
Waterproof full-grain leather and a waterproof membrane keep water out in demanding conditions, while a full wraparound Goodyear welt and triple ridge shank with a steel puncture plate deliver the structural durability a bunker boot has to have. The Vibram® Technical Lug outsole, built with a fire-retardant NFPA compound, holds its grip on wet, oily, or unpredictable ground.
