Description
Waterproof protection, without the full bunker boot.
The FFB 1000 brings the same waterproof, NFPA 1971 certified and CAL/OSHA compliant protection as our 14″ bunker boots down to an 8″ height, for situations that don't call for full turnout gear. A round shaped steel toe gives your foot extra room where it counts, meeting ASTM F2413-05 standards for impact (I/75) and compression (C/75) protection, finished with a Vibram® Kevlar® toe cap built to outlast the abrasion that wears through a normal toe box.
Waterproof full-grain leather and a waterproof membrane keep moisture out in demanding, wet conditions, while a full wraparound Goodyear welt and triple ridge shank with a steel puncture plate deliver the same structural durability as our taller boots. The Vibram® Technical Lug outsole, built with a fire-retardant NFPA compound, holds its footing on wet, oily, or unpredictable ground.
