The FFB 401FG takes our proven 8″ NFPA certified boot and finishes it in full-grain matte leather instead of a high-shine leather. A lower-maintenance, more understated alternative for anyone who'd rather skip the mirror shine without giving up any of the protection. The oblique-shaped steel toe still delivers all-day comfort and meets ASTM standards for impact (I/75) and compression (C/75) protection, and a foam-lined collar with a dual-closure lace-and-zip system keeps things fast and comfortable through a full shift.
Inside, a full wraparound Goodyear welt and molded thermoplastic heel counter keep the boot's shape intact through years of hard use, backed by a triple ridge shank and steel puncture plate that stand between your foot and whatever you step on. The Vibram® Olympia outsole, built with a fire-retardant NFPA compound, holds its grip on wet, oily, or unpredictable ground.
